Bald Hills Wind Farm

Connected to the national electricity grid at Leongatha South, there are 52 wind turbines at Bald hills wind farm, each with an electricity generating capacity of 2.05 megawatts (MW) giving the project a total capacity of 106.6MW. MSG was successful in building 27km of roads, access tracks and hardstands to each of the 52 turbines.

Not only was MSG involved in intensive discussions and legislative coordination with all government and local bodies, our operational staff were able to complete this extensive project before deadline and under budget.

University of South Australia

MSG was engaged to complete a major crossing upgrade (Hindley Street) at The University of SA (City West campus, Adelaide).

Geelong Ring Road at Princes Highway to Anglesea Road

MSG was responsible for the construction of 2.5 kilometers of the four lane, dual carriageway freeway from the Geelong Ring Road at Princes Highway to Anglesea Road terminating at Hams Road. This connection from Geelong Ring Road to Anglesea Road involved building an additional lane in each direction creating three lanes each way in addition to the expansion of a fourth lane between interchanges.

This endeavour involved bridge widening and strengthening to support the addition of the extra lanes. On-site assets were also responsible for bulk earthworks, drainage removal/replacement and updates, inground services and asphalt placement. To ensure driver safety; extensive resurfacing work was also conducted.
