Commercial and domestic clients have relied upon the expertise of MSG for over a decade to create, modify or remove an easement. Our licensed surveyors can determine the locations and liabilities of easements and address the sometimes complicated issues between the parties involved.
MSG surveyors have considerable experience in easement removals and are familiar with all the pathways through which this can be achieved;
By Agreement
By Abandonment
By alterations made to the dominant tenement
By merger/consolidation
By Statute
The right to use another property for a specific purpose such as drainage, sewerage or carriageway (amongst others) is referred to as an easement. If the party who has the right to use the easement (referred to as the dominant tenement) consents; the easement may be removed (this is referred to as By Agreement). Easements may also be removed if a party has not exercised their rights to use the easement over an extended period of time (this is referred to as By Abandonment).
